Friends of Consumer Freedom was established in 2004 to support financial education and increase consumer financial literacy.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are committed to improving lives by helping consumers access solid financial information, financial management tools and affordable financial services.

We are a SEG (Select Employee Group) which helps our members gain access to our partner credit unions' products and services.  Our roots run deep in the world of credit unions, and we were actually founded by the Texas Credit Union League (now the Cornerstone Credit Union League), though today we are a completely independent organization.  

We would love to partner with you!  We know that the recent ruling/guidance from the courts may positively impact your ability to serve clients more broadly.  We will work with you to make it easy for clients to join Friends, and we will also be happy to cohost educational/outreach events with you for your existing membership! Contact us today!
